gnupg-agent software package provides GNU privacy guard - cryptographic agent, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnupg-agent
gnupg-agent is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnupg-agent package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnupg-agent *
You will get with gnupg-agent package name, version, architecture and description in a table
